EMBROIDERY BASIC:
There are three parts to
producing an embroidered item:
- the development of a logo or graphic
design,
- the digitizing of that design to create a
computer file that directs the embroidery
machine where and what type of stitches to sew,
- the embroidery of the design.
These are three separate
processes that are performed by three different
professional groups; therefore, the billing for each process is
also separate. The Embroidery Pre-work Price
Chart lists the cost for graphic design and
digitizing processes, and the Embroidery Price
Chart lists the cost for the embroidery production
only. Other costs such as tax or
shipping are not included.
Garments, etc.
is happy to work with outside designers, agencies
and design-oriented customers who wish to provide
designs
and/or digitized embroidery files that are "READY
FOR UPLOAD AND EMBROIDERY". However, we
strongly recommend that only those who
are highly experienced in graphic design,
digitizing and embroidery production attempt to provide digitized
embroidery files to us since a poorly designed
and/or digitized file not only can delay
production time or result in unnecessary cost, but
also might not create a high quality embroidery
product.
The embroidery price chart listed is for the
embroidery by
Garments, etc. reflect the customer providing a
design and digitized file that is "READY FOR
UPLOAD AND
EMBROIDERY". If a design or digitized file is not
"READY FOR UPLOAD AND EMBROIDERY", then design and
digitizing fees will be charged as a part of the
set up fees.
